·       To equip members with the skills, knowledge and competences required to execute their duties;

·       To represent the interests of its members;

·       To set and promote fair labour standards of practices;

·       To provide innovative training, research, and education;

·       To lobby for, promote and obtain the promulgation of any statute, order, regulation, or enactment and to lobby for the opposition of any statute, regulation, bill, enactment, policy, or proceedings which impact on the operation or interests of The Association ’s members or the discharge of their duties and turnaround mandates;

·       To promote continuous professional development of members through local and international training programs;

·       To assist in the development of human capital for best practice and corporate governance in collaboration with local universities and any other educational institutions;

·       Hosting conferences and research symposiums on labour law, social and economic issues, best practices, and corporate governance;

·       To advocate for the rights of its members; 

·       To promote cooperation, friendship and to protect the interest between The Association’s members;

·       To provide a forum for the consideration and discussion of labour and economic issues and to facilitate cooperative and collaborative interaction amongst members, and between social partners and similar bodies in other countries;

·       To provide members with information relating to labour and employment law, best practice standards and labour administration, and their obligations;

·       Sponsor research on labour and economic issues.
