DEAZ had their official launch on the 17 January 2025. DEAZ received support from International Labour Organisation, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Labour, Employers Confederation of Zimbabwe, Gender Commission, International Domestic Workers Federation and Zimbabwe Domestic and Allied Workers Union. Other participants were domestic workers, domestic employers and key strategic partners.

DEAZ's President: Sarah Vale (Sarah), is very thankful and proud of the collaborated efforts of all parties in attendance. Empowerment through collaboration will make DEAZ work and Sarah has the drive and passion to make it happen!
